Flexfit is an American headwear manufacturer, best known for their stretch-fit caps, which were first introduced in 1994. The company is the U.S. distributor of Yupoong, Inc. and manufacturer for private label headwear in various industries worldwide. With over 40 years of manufacturing expertise, Flexfit’s caps has become one of those household brands making products that many of us have used without even reflecting on who actually made it.
For the release of the 360 OmniMesh Cap, Flexfit commissioned Lundgren+Lindqvist to art direct and design an ad for a trade magazine. To highlight the light and airy feel made possible by the caps’ mesh fabric, a series of images depicting flying or seemingly hovering caps were made, in collaboration with photographer Carl Ander.
