Nigab is one of the leading suppliers of wines and spirits to the Swedish domestic market and the Nordic Duty Free & Travel Retail market. The company is privately held and a part of the Hans Just Group, with well established wine and spirit importing companies in all Nordic countries.

Nigab approached Lundgren+Lindqvist to rethink, design and build their new website. The old website, although frequently updated, had looked the same for a number of years and as a consequence, it was in urgent need of an update. The new website employs a multi-layered approach, in which the visitor is given the opportunity to go from the basic product overview to more in-depth explorations of certain brands and distilleries. The categorizing and product search functionality was perfected, allowing visitors to, out of a vast product archive, swiftly find the desired product. With the new website, we introduced the use of the Stanley typeface from Optimo, complementing the assets in the existing visual identity. We also designed an icon set, allowing Nigab to display compatibility to certain food groups for their selection of wines.
