New Years Poster

New Years Poster 08 summarizing the the past year in terms of events, catastrophies, films, top brands (according to publicity and sales), artists, trends, new gadgets, influential people etc.

All of the 114 different illustrations were hand drawn and include:
Sarah Palin (as the hockey mom), Heath Ledger (RIP), Michael Phelps (8 gold medals, Beijing olympics), Universal Studios (on fire – literally speaking), Vladimir Putin (resigning), Helvetica (the worlds most famous typeface celebrating 50 years), Lehman Brothers (going down the drain), Isaac Hayes (as Chef, RIP), Mortage Crisis, Usain Bolt, Elmo (top selling toy christmas ’08) to name a few.

We chose the champagne bottle as an appropriate symbol for the New Years Eve celebration.

Birthday Invitation

September 1st, 2010

Invitation design for a 20th birthday celebration. The big numbers are “20″ two times, one in the right orientation and the other mirrored vertically. Through the use of gradation, the resulting figures reveals 26 on the bottom read left to right, and an 07 on the top row, read right to left — this happens to be the day of the party, July 26 or 07-26.

One colour offset print 21×29,7cm.
