Kontorshotell Kungsporten is a co-working space for small businesses, run by hospitality company Tokali and located just outside Gothenburg. The space is built around the idea that new ideas are born when businesses escape the isolation of a private office. A chance meeting by the espresso machine can lead to a new business venture and a quick chat in the hallway can be the start of a new friendship.
We were approached by Tokali to design a new logotype for the co-working space, along with a series of illustrations that are to be used in promotional material. The logotype was designed as an arch, guided by the name, which means Kings Gate in Swedish. A bespoke version of the typeface Courier New was designed for the lettering.
